Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell Allegedly Pursuing Clemency, Whistleblower Alleges to House Democrats

Per recent claims from a informant, the convicted associate of Jeffrey Epstein, currently serving a two-decade sentence for trafficking offenses, is allegedly readying a commutation application for review by the Trump administration.

Preferential Handling Alleged at Correctional Facility

House Democrats on the House judiciary committee announced that a source provided information indicating Maxwell is preparing the clemency petition. Additionally, they mentioned she has been receiving special treatment at the federal prison camp in the Lone Star State.

Congressman Jamie Raskin, the top Democrat on the committee, declared in a official statement that the facility's chief was assisting Maxwell with document preparation and submission to aid her effort for executive mercy.

Specific details of the clemency request remain unknown, Raskin added.

Alleged Privileges and Custom Arrangements

The representative claims that, per the insider, the prisoner has been receiving “customized” meals that are “personally delivered” to her cell, and the warden has individually organized exclusive visits for her and her visitors.

The visits allegedly include a “special cordoned-off area” for attendees and a variety of food and drinks for her guests.

Maxwell’s visitors were also reportedly permitted to bring computers, which the congressman characterized as an “unprecedented action” given the potential danger and potential for unmonitored communications.

In one alleged instance, when phone lines went down for other inmates, Maxwell was provided directions about who she should tell her associates to contact and how personnel would connect the communication to her.

Warden as “Personal Secretary”

The source also allegedly told House Democrats that when the convict wanted to examine and modify papers “quickly”, she “essentially used” the official as her private aide.

The statement indicates that those writing to her would email documents directly to the warden, who would provide them to Maxwell, who would review and edit them and provide them back to the warden to scan and provide to the original sender.

Additional Privileges Reported

Further perks allegedly granted to her include time to “play with” a trainee assistance dog – a perk not “ordinarily allowed” – as well as private after-hours access to the prison exercise area.

In a statement, the White House said that it “will not discuss” on potential clemency requests.

Through the statement, the congressman also revealed that he had sent a letter to the President, demanding answers about the insider's claims, and urged the chief executive to reject the clemency appeal.

“You should not grant any type of pardon to this adjudicated and remorseless sex offender,” Raskin wrote in the document. “Your Administration should not be providing her with personal amenities, with puppies to play with, with federal law enforcement officials attending to her requests, or with any special treatment or institutional privilege at all.”

Raskin requested that Blanche attend a public congressional hearing to discuss the revelations and also presented several inquiries to Trump.

Raskin asked whether he had discussed a potential commutation for the convict with Blanche or others, whether he had directed him or anyone else to provide her with the move or favorable and preferential treatment in prison, and whether Maxwell, her attorneys, relatives or representatives have made any commitments to Trump or his legal team.
