The House Oversight Committee has released a set of around 70 images secured from the holdings of late convicted individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third such publication from a cache of more than 95,000 photographs the body has acquired from Epstein's holdings. It features images of excerpts from the literary work Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and redacted photos of female overseas passports.

This action occurs just hours before the 19 December cut-off for the Justice Department to release each documents connected to its investigation into Epstein.

"These photographs pose further queries about exactly what the Department of Justice has in its custody," remarked the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photographs Disclosed

Some of the photographs made public on this week depict Epstein conversing with academic and activist Noam Chomsky on a private plane; Bill Gates positioned alongside a female whose identity is redacted; Steve Bannon positioned at a desk opposite Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the newest wealthy, prominent figures to be pictured in Epstein property images published by the House Oversight Committee - previously released photos also include US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, former US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Showing up in the photographs is does not constitute proof of any illegal activity, and many of the pictured individuals have said they were never implicated in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a announcement released with the photo disclosure, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein property holders did not offer context or dates for the images.

"Photographs were picked to provide the general populace with openness into a illustrative selection of the photographs received from the property, and to give insights into Epstein's circle and his profoundly troubling activities," the announcement states.

The disclosure also features a number of photographs of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita penned in dark ink across several locations of a woman's body, like her chest, lower extremity, pelvis, and spine. Lolita narrates the tale of a minor who was exploited by a adult literature professor.

One passage from the work written across a woman's torso reads, "Lo-lee-ta: the end of the tongue traveling of three steps down the roof of the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a collection of photographs of women's travel documents and official papers from states globally, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the documents, including names and DOBs, is obscured but the panel indicated in a press release that the travel documents are associated with "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were interacting with".

An additional photo features Epstein sitting at a desk closely in the company of three individuals whose identities have been obscured - one has her palm on Epstein's upper body under his shirt, and another is crouching to view a nearby computer. Epstein can be seen to be helping the third individual put on a piece of jewelry.

An additional photograph made public is a image of digital messages from an unnamed sender who states they have been sent "a number of girls" and are asking for "$one thousand dollars for each individual".

Image Disclosure Arrives Before DOJ Cut-off

The committee has thousands of photos in its custody from the Epstein estate, which are "at once disturbing and everyday," its press release on Thursday clarified.

The oversight panel first subpoenaed the estate of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York jail in 2019 while facing trial on charges of sex trafficking, in August.

The images and records the Epstein property provided to the body are different than what is often called "the Epstein documents". Those files are documents under the DOJ's custody related to its separate inquiry into Epstein.

In accordance with the Transparency Act, which President Trump made law last month, the DOJ has until 19 December to disclose its records. The full nature of what is included in the DOJ's files is not publicly known, and it's likely that a large amount of the content will be significantly redacted, akin to the committee's documents
